Christmas Special!

Ho Ho Ho kiddo's,

It's that time of year again! Time to snuggle up to the fire, throw a couple of crappy DVD's on the coals and watch them burn as some sort of twisted effigy of Hollywood studio schlock. Or spend time with friends and family. Whatever floats your boat, man. The Gaffer and I went to see Tron: Legacy, spoke about fond holiday memories, reminisced about days gone past and played some holiday tunes. Next week will be out worst of 2010, so get ready for some crap! We'll also be reviewing Black Swan and True Grit. Who knows, maybe we'll force ourselves into watching the new Narnia as well. I mean, it's kind of our jobs I suppose. We take these bullets so you don't have to. Merry Christmas.

This podcast glows in the dark. Cause that's trendy right now.

So you've probably seen the glowing boobies. If that didn't get your identity disk glowing, I don't know what will. You've probably been light bike deep in Tron hype as of late, and frankly we added to it just a tad, but also tried to deflate a little in the process. We played music from some films that deal with humans and technology going awry...except for Benji. That just came out of nowhere from some news I heard the other day. Enjoy all the same.

Venting can be a form of self preservation.

Boy what a show we've got tonight. You will get to hear first hand our collective blood pressures rising live on air! We discuss ridiculous Hollywood budgets, Daft Punk and Tron Legacy, get a listen to the new Black Swan score, and the usual list of crappy DVDs and upcoming releases. He had our rant game on lock this week, be prepared. We're also counting down to our Worst of 2010 list, that should be popping up in the next two weeks. Stay tuned!

A little late. Just like our topics....

Hey Guys,

here's the podcast from 11-29-10. A little late on the posting as we've been busy gearing up for the year end. We had some sad news to bear in this podcast due to the deaths of Irvin Kershner and Leslie Nielsen. We did little tributes to those two dudes, played music from their films, talked about movies, discussed black friday and did our thang. You know how we do.

Podcast here, Potter on the way.

This week we covered a bit of news: famous folks dying, giant movie releases, terrible DVD re-releases, reviews of The Kids are Alright and Megamind...you know, the usual. The Gaffer and I had a good time in the studio poking fun at all sorts of things while also learning you folks lessons in important lessons. Things to remember? What makes a good animated character. What do multi-part films mean to the biz? What the hell happened to the mini-series? All this and more on this weeks episode. Also, I'm totally pumped for Harry Potter. Midnight release, here I come!

Catchy podcast title!

This week we had some freaking mic issues, but thankfully I got those nipped in the bud within the first 10 minutes of the show. You only missed a little of the Gaffer's sultry voice, so don't fret. We had some really angry things to say this week. Which is completely new, I realize, but we both had half our brains rotted out by the new Resident Evil film and we had to tell you about it. We also reviewed the new Neil Marshall film Centurion. You'll hear all about that in the podcast. Also, we interviewed some of the worlds hottest babes about what they look for in men and how best to enlarge your...okay no we didn't, but I bet that sentence will increase our traffic.

A podcast that will sneak up on you and blow you away.

Tonight's show was full of spies, secerts, guns and general bad assery. The Gaffer and I saw The American over the weekend and were in the mood for some cold blooded entertainment. In this show we finally review Get Low, after forgetting to last week, as well as reviewing The American. Of course there were boo-koo's of crappy DVD's that we made fun of, and all kinds of witty banter.
We heard music from the following films:

Better late than never...

In this weeks show we paid tribute to Japanese director Satoshi Kon. It was a huge bummer hearing the news and while our show didn't air again for several more days, we felt it was important to send him off proper. We also Talked about a slew of craaapppy DVDs and forgot to review Get Low, which we will be doing next week. Also, we got free BBQ from a fan of the show! We were both relieved when it didn't include a handy love knifing, so if you're not an axe wielding psycho and want to send us free stuff... We'll be your friend too. Just email us. We heard music from the following films:

This podcast is far from Expendable.

This week we decided to play music from films that featured the individual cast members from the new film The Expendables. I think it went pretty well. We reviewed the film to. I don't want to spoil it, so you'll have to listen to the podcast. We also reviewed Scot Pilgrim vs The World, for our two cents...like I said, download the podcast.

A dull weekend at the movies, but it's never a dull podcast.

This week we had a show. In this show we talked about movies. This show entertained and delighted the masses. It's sort of what we do. In addition to all these things, we discussed the film Lebanon, highlighted some great DVD releases, and played music from the following films:
